The Boys

On our way to the life here in the attic, there was a time when we were separated: I was living here in Spain and my twin brother was living in Paris. The human there, who shared the apartment with my twin brother got one day rats.

My twin brother was really puzzled because in our tropical forest there were no rats. They looked to him strange: their tail was naked and looked more like coming from a reptile! Therefore my twin brother was careful about them and just observed them from the distance. But soon he realized what great company rats are. They are curious and once they feel at home they try to explore everything. They also live in the constant hope everything can turn into food.

 Even if you have tried to eat something once and found out you cannot eat it. You should try it again in the future because it might have transformed by now into food. Of course, this means you have to keep your room tidy when the rats are out. But even if you don’t like things tidy, it is worth it because it is so much fun to see them running around and climbing everywhere.

You might find a sleeping rat or a hidden food stock in places you don’t expect. They have their arguments sometimes but they look out for each other and enjoy company. And for the tail, my twin brother found out that it is actually not at all like a reptilian tail but very soft. Don’t judge any creature by the looks….
